Delegation of Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution and Thong Chai Institute of Medical Research Visited Guang’anmen Hospital of CACMS

On Sept. 15, led by Yang Yingqun, President of the Board of Directors of Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution and Thong Chai Institute of Medical Research, the 11-member delegation arrived at Guang’anmen Hospital of CACMS for a visit. The reception was headed by Lv Wenliang, Vice President of the hospital, and attended by experts and representatives from the International Cooperation Division, the Hospital Office and the Oncology Department, Acupuncture Department and Emergency Department.

At the reception meeting, Lv Wenliang extended welcome to Yang Yingqun and his group. He first introduced the development history of Guang’anmen Hospital since its establishment, hoped that this exchange visit would be an opportunity to build a platform for cooperation and exchange between the two hospitals,, to strengthen cooperation in aspects such as scientific research, clinical and educational training.

Yang Yingqun said that Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution enjoys deep ties with Guang’anmen Hospital, and enhanced connection and communication are expected through exchanges and visits, so as to, based on the TCM research as the development priority of Thong Chai Institute of Medical Research upon its establishment and TCM as the feature and advantage of Guang’anmen Hospital, co-promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine as an advanced discipline.

Yang Yingqun and his group visited the hospital’s history exhibition, acupuncture outpatient department, oncology department and emergency area. Gaining a deep understanding of Guang’anmen Hospital’s suitable disease diagnosis and treatment, the latest clinical research results and emergency treatment with TCM, the delegation commended the hospital’s construction of key specialties and hoped that this time would be the beginning of the joint promotion of the development of the two countries’ TCM cause at a high level.
