More than 30 medical members from Wang Jing Hospital formed Medical Security Team, who set off for Yanqing Winter Olympic Village at 11 a.m. on January 17th, 2022 to perform medical security tasks.

The team, including medical staff from different departments of Wang Jing Hospital, will provide medical services for Olympic athletes for about two months.

On January 12th, Wang Jing Hospital held the “Departure Ceremony for Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Medical Service Team” for more than 30 team members. Leaders of Wang Jing Hospital attended the ceremony. The heads of relevant departments saw off the medical team. 

Zhu Liguo, president of Wang Jing Hosptial gave a speech on behalf of the Hospital. He stressed that the medical team shoulders special tasks and missions, and hoped that the team members could overcome difficulties, return back sate, and contribute to this Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The leaders of the hospital and all staff would wait for the triumphant return of the medical team. 

An awarding ceremony was also held. The representative volunteer received the flag of the “Wang Jing Hospital’s Medical Security Team for Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games” from Zhu Liguo, and expressed their resolve to complete the medical security task.

Finally, hospital leaders and volunteers expressed their determination to serve the Olympic Games sang the song “Together for a Shared Future”.
