A、Cooperation agreement signed between the Chinese medicine resource center of Chinese Academy of Chinese medicine and Lao Traditional Medicine Research Institute

On April 16, 2018, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Lao Academy of Traditional Medicine, signed the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between National Resource Center for Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Lao Academy of Traditional Medicine. The two sides will jointly carry out the development and application of medicinal plant resources in Laos.

B、President Huang Luqi led the team to carry out resource census in Laos

In June 2017, December 2017 and April 2018, Academician Huang Luqi and his team went to Laos three times to conduct in-depth field investigation, and provided technical training for Laotian personnel to jointly carry out the investigation of medicinal resources. 2165 species (including varieties) of wild medicinal plants belonging to 1014 genera, 214 families were found in Laos.
