“Laos herbal pharmacopoeia” is the first herbal pharmacopoeia in Laos, which is compiled by referring to the standard of “Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2010 Edition)”and edited by Academician Huang Luqi, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Professor Miao Jianhua, Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants at the invitation of Laos government. The book collected 160 kinds of medicinal materials and 40 prescriptions.

In April 25, 2019, Academician Huang Luqi and Professor Miao Jianhua made an official visit to Bounnhang Vorachit, President of The Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and presented “Laos Herbal Pharmacopoeia” to him in Beijing. At that time, President Bounnhang Vorachit was paying a state visit to China and attending the second summit of the "one belt and one road" international cooperation.
