The Institute of Materia Medica of CACMS Signed a Memo of Understanding(MOU) on Cooperation with the Holistic Integrative Medical School, Mae Fah Luang University.

On March 29th, the Institute of Materia Medica of CACMS and the Holistic Integrative Medical School, Mae Fah Luang University jointly held the signing ceremony of MOU on cooperation. Attendees include Zhang Huamin, the party secretary of the Institute of Materia Medica of CACMS, the researcher Liang Aihua, director of the Safety Research Center of TCM Injection, Jin Li, chief of the Office of the Director, professor Nanthana Gajaseni, vice principal of Mae Fah Luang University, professor Chen Ailing, dean of the Holistic Integrative Medical School and relevant personnel from Sino-Thail cooperation teams. The signing ceremony was held both online and offline.

The signing aims to further deepen the cooperation between the two sides in joint research projects, personnel exchanges, paper publishing, etc., and lay a more solid foundation for future academic exchanges and cooperation between the Institute of Materia Medica of CACMS and Mae Fah Luang University.

Zhang Huamin introduced the research achievements which Institute of Materia Medica has made in recent years and spoke highly of the early cooperation between China and Thailand. She hoped that both sides can see this signing as an opportunity, seize the moment of the booming international cooperation in BRI, further deepen cooperation, establish a long-term and stable cooperative research mechanism, give full play to advantages of both sides, and constantly gain cooperation fruits, making it a great professional platform and display window that promote cooperation between Institute of Materia Medica of CACMS and Mae Fah Luang University.

Nanthana Gajaseni went into detail about the academic research status and achievements of Mae Fah Luang University and Holistic Integrative Medical School. Nanthana Gajaseni said it was an honor to cooperate with the Institute of Materia Medica of CACMS and believed this cooperation would provide new opportunities for Mae Fah Luang University, help improve its research ability and lay a sound foundation for both sides to enhance innovation ability and deepen understanding in the field of TCM.

On behalf of Sino-Thai cooperation units, leaders of the two sides formally signed a MOU on cooperation. Sino-Thai researchers proposed a couple of professional suggestions and programs on the promotion of research projects, high-level talent exchanges and student training, etc. and made a clear planning for further cooperation and exchanges in the future. The signing will greatly promote a deep cooperation between the two sides and lay a sound foundation to create more achievements.
